This book is Volume 2 in the Autism series and covers using the Critical Thinking Triangle® in academic and in social situations for: perspective-taking, Theory of Mind, critical thinking, pragmatics (social uses of language), inferencing and characters’ and personal motivations. It is filled with visual, explicit, research-based lessons, activities and projects revolving around kick-offs, feelings, mental states and plans in children’s literature and social situations.
The Autism series relates how to use Story Grammar Marker® methodology to help children develop social communication with the goal of facilitating relationships at school, during academic activities, and at home. Specially designed materials are included for developing the understanding of narrative structure, Critical Thinking Triangle®, and pragmatics.
